So... I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks. I wasn't planning on taking a vacation, and if I were to choose the ideal vacation spot, it wouldn't have been the hospital.
I was noticing some weirdness in my vision. Floaters, or Len's flares as I was calling them. A weird muscle spasm in my left eye. I couldn't see anything above my head with my right eye. My doctor scheduled an optomotrist appointment for me, and the optomitrist sent me to the emergency room after looking into my eye.
My retina was detaching.
Modern science and Denver Health saved my vision. I'm grateful for the proffesionalism and skill in the treatment I recieved. Considering how many people these guys have to fix daily, they do an amazing job.
I should be back to work next week.
